About Ambassador Signature Cruise

Launched in 2023, Ambassador Signature Cruise is a five-star luxury overnight cruise offering an intimate and refined journey through the scenic waters of Lan Ha Bay and Cat Ba Island. Built as a modern steel vessel, the cruise features 39 elegant cabins accommodating up to 120 guests, creating a comfortable yet exclusive atmosphere for exploring one of Northern Vietnam’s most beautiful coastal regions.

Each cabin ranges from 28m² to 35m² and includes a private balcony or terrace, spacious en-suite bathroom, and contemporary design that maximizes natural light and sea views. Guests can choose from four cabin categories: Ambassador Balcony, Executive Ambassador Balcony, Ambassador Balcony Suite, and the exclusive Captain’s View Ambassador Suite.

Onboard facilities include a deluxe restaurant serving premium Asian and European cuisine, indoor and outdoor bars, a piano lounge, reading area, spa lounge, and a panoramic sundeck. Cruise itinerary

Morning

After optional transfer by bus from Hanoi Old Quarters, arriving at Ambassador’s Lounge in Halong Cruise Port around 11:00am to complete check-in and registration procedures.

Then, guests are transferred by speedboat to Ambassador Signature Cruise at Gia Luan Pier, where a short welcome briefing is held at the Piano Lounge introducing the cruise itinerary, safety guidelines, and onboard services.

Noon

Enjoy a premium lunch at the restaurant while the cruise sails through the serene landscapes of Lan Ha Bay, known for its emerald waters and hundreds of limestone islands. In the afternoon, visit Viet Hai Village on Cat Ba Island, a peaceful traditional village surrounded by the forests of Cat Ba National Park. Guests can explore the village by bicycle or electric cart, visiting fish lakes, bee houses, ancient homes, and experiencing a relaxing fish foot massage.

Return to the cruise and enjoy afternoon tea, relax on the sundeck, or indulge in a rejuvenating spa treatment.

Evening

Join a Vietnamese cooking class and Happy Hour at the Piano Lounge or on the sundeck while admiring the sunset over Lan Ha Bay. In the evening, savor a Michelin-standard dinner on the sundeck (weather permitting) while enjoying live music performed by the onboard Filipino band (except Mondays). After dinner, guests may relax with drinks, enjoy the music, or try night squid fishing. Overnight onboard in Lan Ha Bay.

Morning

Start the final morning with a Tai Chi session on the sundeck, enjoying the peaceful sunrise over Lan Ha Bay. A light breakfast with tea, coffee, and pastries is served afterward.

Guests then visit Dark & Bright Cave, one of the most beautiful water caves in Lan Ha Bay. Explore the cave by kayak or bamboo boat, gliding through a limestone arch into a tranquil lagoon surrounded by towering cliffs.

After the excursion, return to Ambassador Signature Cruise and enjoy a full breakfast in the restaurant while the vessel slowly sails back toward the harbor. Complete check-out procedures and transferred by speedboat back to Halong Cruise Port around 11:00am. Optional transfer service is available for guests returning to Hanoi Old Quarter.

Guests then enjoy a full breakfast in the restaurant while the cruise sails through the peaceful scenery of the bay.

Later, transfer to Cat Ba Island for a day of exploration. The first stop is Trung Trang Cave, one of the largest and most impressive caves within the Cat Ba Biosphere Reserve, featuring thousands of unique stalactites formed over centuries. Continue to Cat Ba National Park, a UNESCO-recognized biosphere reserve and one of Northern Vietnam’s most important ecosystems, home to diverse flora and fauna. Guests can enjoy the natural landscapes and learn about the park’s biodiversity.

Noon

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant on Cat Ba Island before continuing the excursion. Next, visit a local market on Cat Ba Island, where guests can explore daily life, observe local products, and experience the vibrant atmosphere of the island community. Later, return to Gia Luan Pier and transfer back to Ambassador Signature Cruise by speedboat.

Evening

Back onboard, guests can relax before joining a cooking class and Happy Hour at sunset. Dinner is served in style with another Michelin-standard dining experience, accompanied by live music entertainment. The evening continues with drinks, music, or optional night squid fishing. Overnight onboard in Lan Ha Bay.
