Morning

After an optional transfer from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter (8:00am-8:30am), guests arrive at Heritage Line’s lounge at Tuan Chau Marina. A speedboat transfer takes you to your luxurious Heritage Line Violet Cruise, your floating home for the coming days, and begin sailing into the remote waters of Bai Tu Long Bay – a quieter, less-visited extension of Halong Bay known for its untouched beauty and striking limestone scenery.

Noon

Lunch is served in the elegant dining lounge while the ship glides through this unspoiled seascape. Unwind on the terrace deck or your private balcony and join a short welcome presentation by the cruise director, introducing the legends, traditions and geography of Halong and Bai Tu Long Bay. After lunch, your first exploration leads to tranquil Tra San area. Glide silently by kayak through calm jade-green waters, weaving between towering limestone cliffs in one of the bay’s most peaceful corners.

Back on board, take part in a Vietnamese cooking class hosted by the chef before enjoying a multi-course dinner in Violet’s fine-dining restaurant. Later, you may unwind with a drink at the bar, try your hand at squid fishing, or simply stargaze from the terrace deck. Overnight onboard in Bai Tu Long Bay.

Morning

Begin your day with an invigorating Tai Chi session followed by breakfast with panoramic views. Meanwhile, the ship sails towards the spectacular Thien Canh Son Cave. A gentle walk of around 100 steps leads you through a maze of stalactites and stalagmites, unveiling ancient geological wonders before rewarding you with a breathtaking panoramic viewpoint.

Continue your journey to Vung Vieng Fisherman Village, where local families practice fish and oyster farming on the calm waters. Guided by a local host, gain wonderful insight into the daily life of this unique waterside community.

Noon

Lunch is served on board as Heritage Line Violet Cruise glides through stunning seascapes. The early afternoon is dedicated to an engaging onboard workshop or presentation, offering deeper insight into the region’s culture and heritage.

Later, the cruise anchors close to a secluded beach for a lifestyle moment. Swim in emerald waters, stroll along the shore, enjoy spa time on board, or simply relax with sundowner drinks and canapés as blue hour settles over Bai Tu Long Bay.

Evening

As the sun sets, the ship sails to its overnight mooring spot. Savor a multi-course dinner, followed by a cozy movie night, or retire to your suite to unwind on your private balcony under a star-filled sky. Overnight onboard in Bai Tu Long Bay.

Morning

Start the morning with Tai Chi on the sundeck as the sun rises over Bai Tu Long Bay. Light breakfast is served while you take in the final views of emerald waters and towering limestone cliffs. Spend some time relaxing before check-out as Heritage Line Violet Cruise sails back to Tuan Chau Marina. Disembark late morning, then optional transfer back to Hanoi, arriving at hotels in the Hanoi Old Quarter around 2:30pm-2:45pm..
