Cruise itinerary

Morning
Welcome aboard the Athena Royal Cruise at Halong Cruise Port, where you’ll be greeted with refreshing welcome drinks and a short safety briefing. After check-in, settle into your elegantly furnished cabin with a private balcony and panoramic views of the emerald bay. The cruise begins its journey through Halong Bay’s magnificent limestone pillars.

Noon
Enjoy a delectable lunch at the onboard restaurant as the ship sails past iconic sites such as Dog Islet and Fighting Cock Islet. In the afternoon, explore the stunning Sung Sot Cave (Surprise Cave), one of the largest and most impressive caverns in Halong Bay, adorned with colorful stalactites and stalagmites. Continue to Titop Island, where you can swim in turquoise waters, relax on the sandy beach, or climb to the island’s peak for breathtaking panoramic views of the bay.

Evening
Return to Athena Royal Cruise to unwind during Happy Hour on the sundeck or enjoy sunset cocktails with live background music. Join the Vietnamese cooking demonstration hosted by the chef before indulging in a fine à la carte dinner featuring both Vietnamese and Western cuisine. Later, relax with a drink at the bar, try your hand at squid fishing, or simply enjoy a peaceful night under the stars from your private balcony.

Morning
Start the day with a refreshing Tai Chi session on the sundeck as the sun rises over Halong Bay, followed by a light breakfast. The cruise continues to Luon Cave, a beautiful lagoon accessible by bamboo boat or kayak. Admire the tranquil scenery surrounded by towering cliffs and emerald waters, where monkeys occasionally appear on the rocks.

After the excursion, return to the ship for brunch while the Athena Royal Cruise leisurely sails back toward the port. Relax on the sundeck and capture your final photos of Halong Bay before check-out and disembarkation at Halong Cruise Port.
