About Amour Cruise

Originally launched in 2020 and renewed in 2026, Amour Cruise is an intimate luxury overnight cruise exploring Lan Ha Bay. With only 22 cabins and a maximum capacity of 55 guests, the cruise offers a relaxed boutique atmosphere with attentive, heartfelt hospitality.

Cabins range from 28m² to 45m². Every cabin features a private balcony or terrace and a bathroom with an ocean-view bathtub. Junior and Senior Suites provide comfortable accommodation for couples, families, and friends, while the spacious Executive and Honeymoon Suites offer panoramic views and enhanced private outdoor space.

Onboard facilities include a panoramic sundeck with a Jacuzzi pool, sunbathing area, restaurant, outdoor bar, fitness center, and spa. Guests can also enjoy sunset gatherings, Vietnamese cooking classes, morning Tai Chi, kayaking, swimming, bamboo boat excursions, and evening squid fishing.

Departing from Tuan Chau Marina, Amour Cruise visits the peaceful Tra Bau Area and Dark & Bright Cave on its overnight program. The extended 3D2N journey explores deeper into Lan Ha Bay and Cat Ba Island, including Viet Hai Village and the secluded Ba Trai Dao Beach.

Cruise itinerary

Morning

After an optional transfer from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter between 8:00am and 8:30am, travel toward Halong Bay with a short refreshment stop along the way. Arrive at Block No. 39, Tuan Chau Marina, between 12:00pm and 12:15pm. Guests then transfer by speedboat to Amour Cruise.

Upon boarding, enjoy a welcome drink and meet the captain and crew for an introduction to the itinerary and important safety guidelines.

Noon

At 1:30pm, enjoy a Vietnamese seafood and vegetarian lunch while the cruise sails past Con Vit Islet, Thumb Islet, and Gia Luan Harbor toward Lan Ha Bay. From 3:30pm to 5:00pm, explore the peaceful Tra Bau Area, known as one of the filming locations for Kong: Skull Island. Guests can kayak among the limestone formations or swim in the calm emerald water. Alternatively, remain onboard and relax in the panoramic Jacuzzi pool on the sundeck.

Evening

At 5:30pm, return to the cruise for a sunset gathering with complimentary fruit, cake, and tea. From 6:00pm to 6:15pm, join the executive chef for a Vietnamese cooking class and learn how to prepare traditional spring rolls. Dinner is served at 7:15pm, featuring local seafood and Vietnamese specialties. After dinner, relax with music, try night squid fishing, play board games, or enjoy drinks at the bar. Morning

Begin the final morning at 6:00am with a sunrise Tai Chi session on the sundeck. At 7:15am, enjoy tea, coffee, and a light breakfast while admiring the peaceful morning scenery of Lan Ha Bay. At 8:00am, visit Dark & Bright Cave by traditional bamboo boat rowed by local people. Pass beneath the natural limestone arch and enter a tranquil lagoon surrounded by towering cliffs and lush vegetation.

9:30am-10:15am | Check-out

Return to the cruise, settle any outstanding bills, and check out of your cabin. Guests should place their luggage outside the cabin and return the room key to Reception. At 10:30am, enjoy a farewell buffet brunch while the cruise returns toward Tuan Chau Marina.

Disembark Amour Cruise at approximately 11:30am and transfer by speedboat back to the marina. Guests using the optional transfer service depart for Hanoi at approximately 12:10pm-12:15pm. After a short stop in Hai Duong Province, arrival at hotels in Hanoi is expected between 2:00pm and 3:30pm.

Begin the day at 6:00am with a rejuvenating Tai Chi session on the sundeck, surrounded by the limestone landscape of Lan Ha Bay. At 7:15am, enjoy breakfast while admiring panoramic views of the UNESCO World Heritage landscape. At approximately 8:45am, transfer to the day boat for a deeper exploration of Lan Ha Bay and Cat Ba Island. Arrive at Viet Hai Village at approximately 10:30am. This small village lies within the forested landscape of Cat Ba National Park.

Guests may choose between: Cycling through the peaceful countryside, local farms, and village surroundings OR exploring Viet Hai Village comfortably by electric car.

Noon

At 12:00pm, enjoy lunch aboard the day boat while cruising through the tranquil scenery of Lan Ha Bay. From approximately 1:00pm to 3:00pm, continue to Ba Trai Dao Beach, or Three Peaches, area. Guests can kayak through the surrounding limestone landscape and swim near its secluded beaches when weather and tidal conditions permit. Between 5:00pm and 5:30pm, return to Amour Cruise. Enjoy time to refresh in your cabin, relax by the Jacuzzi pool, or book a professional massage treatment.

Evening

At 6:15pm, enjoy another sunset gathering and cooking demonstration as Amour Cruise moves toward its overnight anchorage. A specially prepared dinner is served at 7:15pm, offering a second evening of Amour Cruise’s “Heartfelt Hospitality.” After dinner, enjoy cocktails at the bar, explore the wine and cigar cellar, or relax beneath the night sky.
