About Bhaya Classic Cruise

Bhaya Classic Cruise is operated by Bhaya Cruises, an established Halong Bay cruise brand with a heritage dating back to 2007. Its three traditionally styled wooden vessels offer approximately 20 cabins each, combining Vietnamese craftsmanship, warm hospitality, and affordable overnight cruising.

Accommodation includes 12.5m² Deluxe Cabins and 16.5m² Terrace Suites, featuring wooden interiors, ocean views, air-conditioning, and private bathrooms. Deluxe Cabins have large windows, with private balconies available on Bhaya Classic III. Terrace Suites offer private outdoor space, while bathtubs are available on Bhaya Classic I and II.

Cruise itinerary

Morning

After an optional transfer from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter, travel toward Halong Bay. At approximately 11:30am, arrive at Bhaya Cruise Center within Tuan Chau Marina and complete the registration procedures. At 12:00pm, board Bhaya Classic Cruise and receive your cabin. Meet the Cruise Manager and crew in the restaurant for a short introduction to the journey and essential safety information.

Noon

At 12:30pm, enjoy lunch while the cruise sails toward the southeast of Halong Bay, passing distinctive limestone formations such as Trong Mai, Ngon Tay, and Con Coc islets. At 3:00pm, explore the Trinh Nu Area by kayak. Paddle through emerald water surrounded by dramatic limestone mountains and enjoy a closer encounter with the bay’s natural scenery. Return to the cruise at approximately 4:30pm and freshen up before the evening activities.

Evening

At 5:30pm, join a Vietnamese cooking demonstration and learn to prepare traditional spring rolls. The bar also offers Happy Hour promotions on selected drinks. Relax on the sundeck and admire the sunset over Halong Bay. Dinner is served in the restaurant at 7:00pm. At 9:00pm, participate in a Vietnamese rice-wine tasting session and learn about local varieties and brewing traditions. From 9:30pm, enjoy leisure time onboard, try night squid fishing with the crew, or relax in your cabin. The bar remains open until approximately 10:30pm, with promotions on selected drinks. Morning

Begin the final morning at 6:15am with a Tai Chi session on the sundeck while complimentary tea and coffee are served. Breakfast is available in the restaurant from 7:00am as the cruise sails toward the centre of Halong Bay. At 7:30am, choose one of the following excursions:

Option 1–Sung Sot Cave: Explore one of Halong Bay’s largest caves, walking through its immense chambers and admiring the impressive stalactites and stalagmites.

Option 2–Titop Island: Swim or sunbathe at the beach, or hike to the summit for panoramic views across Halong Bay.

Return to Bhaya Classic Cruise at approximately 8:30am. Freshen up and prepare your luggage while breakfast continues to be served in the restaurant.

9:30am | Check-out

Complete the cabin check-out procedures and settle any outstanding bills at reception. Disembark at approximately 10:00am. Guests leave the cruise and prepare for departure. An optional transfer back to Hanoi or onward transportation can be arranged in advance.

Note: The morning excursion is a choice between Sung Sot Cave and Titop Island; both are not included in the same 2D1N program. The itinerary may change due to weather, tides, or operating conditions. Kayaking and swimming may be cancelled or relocated when necessary.

Guest preparation: Please submit the required passenger information before departure and bring a valid passport for check-in. Advise us of dietary requirements or food allergies at least one week before the cruise.

Discover this quieter Halong Bay attraction and its ancient stalactites and stalagmites. Return to the day boat at approximately 10:00am and enjoy the scenery while cruising eastward. At 10:30am, explore the Cua Van Floating Village area by kayak or traditional rowing boat. Discover its sheltered setting and learn about the bay’s fishing-community heritage. Return to the day boat at approximately 11:30am.

Lunch is served at 12:00pm while the day boat cruises toward the next attraction. At 2:00pm, visit Luon Cave by traditional rowing boat. Pass beneath its natural limestone arch and admire the peaceful lagoon surrounded by towering cliffs. Return to the day boat at approximately 3:00pm, then rejoin Bhaya Classic Cruise at approximately 3:30pm. Freshen up and enjoy leisure time before the evening activities.

Evening

At 5:30pm, relax on the sundeck and admire another sunset over Halong Bay. Happy Hour promotions are available on selected drinks at the bar. Dinner is served at 7:00pm. Morning

Welcome the final morning at 6:15am with a Tai Chi session on the sundeck while complimentary tea and coffee are served. A light breakfast is available at 7:00am as the cruise sails toward the centre of Halong Bay.

At 8:00am, visit Titop Island. Enjoy swimming or sunbathing at the beach before returning to the cruise at approximately 8:45am.

Check-out and Farewell Brunch

Freshen up, prepare your luggage, and complete the cabin check-out arrangements as instructed by the crew.

At 9:30am, enjoy a farewell brunch in the restaurant while Bhaya Classic Cruise returns toward the marina. Disembark at Bhaya Cruise Center at approximately 10:30am.

Guests leave Bhaya Classic Cruise and prepare for departure. An optional transfer back to Hanoi or onward transportation can be arranged in advance.

Note: A supporting day boat may be used on Day 2 according to operating conditions. Guests have lunch and travel between attractions aboard this vessel before returning to the main cruise for the second night.

The itinerary may change due to weather, tides, or operating conditions. Kayaking, swimming, and other outdoor excursions may be cancelled or relocated when necessary.

Child Policy

One child under 6 years old: Free of charge when sharing the existing bed with two adults.

Children from 6 to 11 years old: Charged at 75% of the adult rate when sharing the existing bed with two adults.
