About Lumiere Cruise

Launching in 2026, Lumiere Cruise is a new luxury steel-hull overnight cruise exploring Halong Bay, with an extended journey into Lan Ha Bay on its 3-day itinerary. The cruise features 42 cabins across five decks, accommodating up to 99 guests, with cabin sizes ranging from 27m² to 80m².

Every cabin offers a private balcony, panoramic bay views and a bathroom with an ocean-view bathtub. Higher-category suites add a private outdoor Jacuzzi, terrace or sundeck, together with personalised butler service and selected privileges. The cruise’s Modern Indochine design combines warm wooden details, contemporary furnishings and soft ambient lighting.

Onboard facilities include an open-air swimming pool, a spa and wellness centre, a panoramic restaurant, Sky Bar and a sundeck of more than 300m². Guests can also enjoy refined Vietnamese and international dining, sunset activities, cooking demonstrations, kayaking, cave visits and sunrise Tai Chi or Vovinam.

Morning

Optional pick-up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter between 8:00AM and 8:30AM, followed by a comfortable transfer to Tuan Chau Marina. Arrive at the marina at approximately 11:30AM and complete check-in procedures. From 11:30AM to 12:00PM, board Lumiere Cruise and receive a warm welcome from the crew. At 12:30PM, attend the itinerary introduction and safety briefing before settling into your cabin.

Noon

At 1:00PM, enjoy a refined lunch in the panoramic restaurant while the cruise begins sailing through the spectacular limestone scenery of Halong Bay. At 3:00PM, visit Tung Sau Pearl Farm, learn about traditional pearl cultivation, and explore the tranquil surrounding waters by kayak or local bamboo boat.

Evening

At 5:00PM, return to Lumiere Cruise for sunset afternoon tea and panoramic bay views. Guests may also order bespoke cocktails while relaxing at the Sky Bar or on the sundeck. At 5:30PM, join a Vietnamese cooking demonstration and learn how to prepare a traditional dish. At 7:00PM, enjoy an exquisite dinner in the onboard restaurant. Morning

Begin the final day from 6:15AM to 6:45AM with a sunrise Tai Chi or Vovinam session. A light breakfast is served at 6:45AM. At 7:20AM, visit Sung Sot Cave, one of the largest and most magnificent caves in Halong Bay, renowned for its immense chambers and impressive limestone formations. Return to Lumiere Cruise at approximately 9:00AM and enjoy some final moments of relaxation onboard.

From 9:30AM, complete the cabin check-out procedures and place your luggage in the designated area. From 9:30AM to 10:30AM, enjoy a farewell brunch while the cruise returns toward the harbor.

Disembark at Tuan Chau Marina between 10:30AM and 11:00AM. Optional transfer back to Hanoi, arriving in the Old Quarter during the afternoon.

Note: The itinerary may be adjusted according to weather, tides, port regulations, or operating conditions. Kayaking and swimming may be cancelled when conditions are unsuitable. Wi-Fi and television signals may be intermittent because of the bay’s limestone geography.

Begin the day at 6:15AM with sunrise views over Halong Bay. A light breakfast is served from 6:30AM to 7:45AM. From 8:00AM to 8:45AM, transfer by tender to the meeting point near Titop Island and board the day cruise for the extended journey toward Lan Ha Bay. From 9:00AM to 9:30AM, cruise past Dau Nguoi and Yen Ngua islets toward Trinh Nu Cave. From 9:30AM to 10:15AM, kayak around Trinh Nu Cave and Trong Cave, surrounded by dramatic limestone formations and tranquil waters. At 10:45AM, continue sailing toward the peaceful Ba Trai Dao area.

Noon

At 11:45AM, enjoy lunch onboard the day cruise. From 1:00PM to 1:45PM, swim and relax at Ba Trai Dao Beach, known for its clear water and secluded natural setting. At 2:00PM, cruise past Con Coc and Mat Quy islets before exploring Me Cung Cave. Evening

At 5:15PM, enjoy sunset views and twilight relaxation onboard. At 5:30PM, join another Vietnamese cooking demonstration. At 7:00PM, savor a refined dinner in the restaurant. Holiday surcharges apply to both adults and children unless otherwise confirmed at the time of booking.

Private Charter Option

With 42 cabins and capacity for up to 99 guests, Lumiere Cruise is available for private charter, subject to availability. The vessel is suitable for corporate retreats, MICE groups, weddings, private celebrations, family gatherings and special-interest groups.

Charter arrangements may include private use of the cabins and public facilities, customised dining menus, event setup, entertainment programs and itinerary adjustments permitted by the port authority and weather conditions. The panoramic restaurant, Sky Bar, swimming pool and expansive sundeck provide flexible spaces for dining, meetings, ceremonies and evening events.

Private charter quotations are prepared according to the travel date, group size, program duration and requested services.
