About Orient Legacy Cruise

Launched in 2026, Orient Legacy Cruise is a new-generation ultra-luxury cruise combining the nostalgic elegance of 1930s Indochina with contemporary comfort and immersive cultural experiences. The 79.8-meter vessel offers 43 spacious suites and accommodates up to 99 guests, supported by a professional crew of 36.

Its eight cabin categories range from 35m² to 120m². Every cabin features a large ocean-view window and an ocean-view bathtub with rain shower. Most categories also offer a private balcony, while the signature suites introduce larger terraces, panoramic views, outdoor Jacuzzis, and enhanced private living space.

Orient Legacy Cruise offers five guest decks with distinctive Vietnamese cultural themes. The first deck reflects the heritage of Halong and northern Vietnam, the second is inspired by historic Faifo, the third recalls the glamour of 1930s Saigon, and the upper decks provide panoramic dining, relaxation, and entertainment.

Major facilities include the 50m² four-season infinity pool, Lotus Wellness & Spa, Saigon Observation Lounge & Library, Pearl of Orient Restaurant, Dalat Sky Bar & Terrace, a 360-degree observation area, marina platform, and an open-air performance stage.

Departing from Tuan Chau Marina, Orient Legacy Cruise explores Lan Ha Bay through kayaking, swimming, bamboo boating, cycling, cultural activities, cooking demonstrations, traditional performances, afternoon tea, and sunset experiences. Its extended 3D2N program offers additional exploration of Cat Ba Island and its cultural and historic attractions.

Cruise itinerary

Morning

After an optional transfer from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter (8:00 AM -8:30 AM), arrive at the Orient Legacy Private Lounge, Lot 24, Tuan Chau Marina, at approximately 11:30 AM. Enjoy a welcome drink and complete the express check-in procedures.

At 12:15 PM, transfer by tender or speedboat to Orient Legacy Cruise. Receive a welcome drink while the Cruise Manager introduces the itinerary, onboard activities and essential safety information.

Noon

At 12:45 PM, enjoy lunch featuring distinctive Vietnamese flavours while the cruise begins sailing through the magnificent limestone landscapes of Lan Ha Bay. At approximately 3:30 PM, visit Dark & Bright Cave, also known as Light and Dark Cave. Discover its peaceful lagoon by kayak or local bamboo boat. Guests may also swim near the cruise, subject to weather and tidal conditions.

Evening

Return to Orient Legacy Cruise at approximately 5:30 PM for the sunset party. Enjoy Happy Hour and admire the evening scenery before joining a Vietnamese cooking demonstration featuring traditional spring rolls.

At 7:00 PM, enjoy dinner at the Pearl of Orient Restaurant & Bar. After dinner, try night squid fishing, relax in the lounge or enjoy an optional spa treatment. Overnight onboard in Lan Ha Bay.

Morning

Welcome the final day at 6:00 AM with a Tai Chi session on the sundeck. Enjoy the fresh morning air and spectacular scenery with a cup of tea or coffee. A light breakfast is served at 6:45 AM.

At approximately 7:00 AM, visit Tra Bau Area. Kayak among the limestone karsts and admire the pristine emerald water and peaceful natural surroundings of Lan Ha Bay.

9:30 AM | Check-out

Return to Orient Legacy Cruise and complete the cabin check-out procedures. Please place your luggage outside the cabin so the crew can assist with transferring it.

At 9:45 AM, enjoy a farewell brunch while Orient Legacy Cruise returns to the harbour. Disembark at Tuan Chau Marina at approximately 11:00 AM.

Guests leave the cruise and prepare for departure. An optional transfer back to Hanoi is available upon advance reservation.

Note: The itinerary may be adjusted according to weather, tides, cruising conditions or local authority requirements. Kayaking, cycling, bamboo boating, swimming and access to Ba Trai Dao Beach (Day 2 of 3D2N Itinerary) are subject to suitable operating conditions. Wi-Fi is available onboard but may be limited due to the bay’s geography.

Begin the day at 6:00 AM with a Tai Chi session on the sundeck or relax in your cabin and enjoy the peaceful morning scenery. Breakfast is served in the restaurant at 7:30 AM. At 8:00 AM, board the day vessel and cruise toward Viet Hai Village on Cat Ba Island.

Arrive at Viet Hai local pier at approximately 9:30 AM and begin a scenic cycling excursion. Follow a paved road beside a peaceful lagoon, cross a gentle slope and pass through a tunnel cave before continuing along a jungle-fringed route to the village. Guests who prefer not to cycle may request alternative transportation, subject to availability and the cruise’s operating arrangements.

Noon

At approximately 12:30 PM, enjoy a rustic lunch in Viet Hai Village or a meal aboard the day vessel, depending on the day’s arrangements. Continue to Ba Trai Dao Beach, arriving at approximately 3:00 PM. Kayak through the clear water, swim or relax on the secluded beach surrounded by dramatic limestone scenery. Access to Ba Trai Dao Beach depends on tides, weather and permission from the local authorities.

Evening

At approximately 4:00 PM, return to Orient Legacy Cruise and relax at leisure. Guests may unwind in their cabins, enjoy a drink or book an optional spa treatment. Enjoy dinner onboard, followed by evening entertainment or night squid fishing. Overnight onboard in Lan Ha Bay.

Guests should arrive at the waiting lounge in sufficient time to complete registration and boarding procedures. Check-in and disembarkation times may be adjusted according to weather, tidal conditions, port regulations, or the cruise operator’s arrangements.

Child Policy

One child under 5 years old: Free of charge when sharing the existing bed with two adults.

Children from 5 to 11 years old sharing an existing bed with two adults: Charged at 75% of the adult rate.

Children from 5 to 11 years old using an extra bed and sharing a cabin with two adults: Charged at 85% of the adult rate.

One child under 12 years old sharing a cabin with one adult: Charged at 100% of the adult rate.

Guests aged 12 years and above: Considered adults and charged at the full adult rate.

Children’s arrangements, extra beds and maximum cabin occupancy are subject to the selected cabin category and confirmation by Orient Legacy Cruise.

Surcharge Policy

A compulsory surcharge may apply on Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve, Lunar New Year and other designated Vietnamese public holidays or special-event dates.

The applicable dates and surcharge amounts may vary by travel period and will be confirmed at the time of booking.

Extra-bed charges and additional-person supplements depend on the guest’s age, cabin category and occupancy arrangement.

Private Charter Option

Orient Legacy Cruise is available for exclusive full-boat charters, offering a sophisticated venue for corporate retreats, meetings, conferences, weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, family celebrations, and private group journeys.

The charter program can be personalized with a customized itinerary, private dining, meeting arrangements, pool or beach parties, themed events, art and music performances, cultural activities, and special celebration setups. Selected event arrangements can accommodate up to 80 participants.

Guests can choose between customized 2D1N and 3D2N voyages through Lan Ha Bay and Cat Ba Island. All proposed routes and activities remain subject to weather conditions, port regulations, and operational approval.
