In the morning, guests using the optional transfer service are collected from hotels in Hanoi Old Quarter between 06:20 am and 07:00 am. Travel by expressway to Tuan Chau Marina, with a 25-30-minute rest stop for refreshments and restroom facilities along the way.
Upon arrival at the cruise’s lounge around 10:00 am, guests check in and prepare to board Taliya Cruise. Between 10:15 am and 10:30 am, enjoy a welcome drink and an introduction to the cruise program and safety instructions before setting sail through the limestone scenery of Halong Bay toward Lan Ha Bay.
At 11:15 am – 11:30 am, lunch service begins in the air-conditioned restaurant. Enjoy a Vietnamese-fusion buffet or set menu, served according to the operating arrangements, while admiring the surrounding islands through the large windows.
Between 1:00 pm and 1:45 pm, the cruise visits Dark & Bright Cave. A traditional bamboo boat, rowed by a local boatman, takes guests through the limestone passage toward a sheltered lagoon surrounded by steep cliffs. Cave access depends on tides and safety conditions.
The journey continues to Frog Pond Area or Tra Bau Area between 2:45 pm and 3:30 pm for kayaking and swimming.
- Frog Pond Area, also known as Ao Ech, offers sheltered emerald waters enclosed by limestone mountains, an attractive setting for paddling, swimming, and enjoying the natural scenery.
- Alternatively, Tra Bau features protected waterways among limestone islands, where guests can kayak and swim in designated areas approved by the crew. Guests may also remain onboard and relax. One of these two areas is visited, depending on the operating route.
At 4:00 pm – 4:15 pm, join a Vietnamese spring-roll cooking demonstration, learning about the ingredients and preparation with guidance from the onboard team.
At 4:40 pm, gather on the sundeck for a sunset party with fresh fruit and pastries. Enjoy the late-afternoon bay views, unwind in the onboard Jacuzzi, or share travel experiences with fellow guests. Happy Hour offers may be available, with bar drinks charged separately.
Taliya Cruise disembarks between 5:10 pm and 5:30 pm. Guests who booked transportation rejoin their vehicle for the return journey, arriving in Hanoi Old Quarter at approximately 7:45 pm – 8:15 pm.
