About Treasure Junk

Launched in 2017 and renovated in 2020, Treasure Junk is a boutique vessel operated by Bai Tho Junks, one of the most experienced and reputable cruise companies in Halong Bay. With 14 fully furnished cabins ranging from 14m² to 43m², spread across three decks, the cruise combines traditional Vietnamese junk style with a modern steel structure for safety and comfort.

Departing from Halong Cruise Port, Treasure Junk sails into the unspoiled waters of Bai Tu Long Bay, and on extended itineraries connects to Halong Bay and Lan Ha Bay. Guests can explore highlights such as Tung Ang – Cong Do Area, Vung Vieng Fisherman Village, Pearl Farm Center, and the picturesque Dark & Bright Cave.

Cruise itinerary

Morning
Optional transfer from Hanoi and travel to Halong Cruise Port. Board Treasure Junk by tender, enjoy a welcome drink, safety briefing, and cabin check-in.

Noon
Lunch is served as the cruise sails into Bai Tu Long Bay, passing limestone islets and dramatic cliffs. Arrive at Cong Do Area for kayaking, giving you the chance to paddle through tranquil waters surrounded by karst formations.

Evening
Join a cooking demonstration on the sundeck while enjoying the sunset with drinks. Dinner is served either in the restaurant or outdoors on deck, depending on weather. Afterward, take part in squid fishing or relax at the bar before overnighting onboard in Bai Tu Long Bay.

Morning

Wake early for tai chi on the sundeck and enjoy the sunrise over Bai Tu Long Bay. After a light breakfast, visit Vung Vieng Fisherman Village by bamboo boat, where you’ll witness the unique daily life of the local fishing community.

Return to Treasure Junk, check out, and enjoy a farewell buffet brunch as the cruise heads back to port. Disembark at Halong Cruise Port late morning. Optional transfer back to Hanoi, arriving around 2:30pm.

Children from 5-11 years: Sharing a bed with parents: charged at 75% of adult rate (with bedding setup) | Using an extra bed: charged at 75% of adult rate | Sharing a cabin with 1 adult: charged full adult rate.

Children from 12 years and above: Charged at adult rate.

For Chartered Cruises (Private Charter): All children are considered adults and charged at full adult rate.

Extra Bed: Additional bed in cabin: 85% of adult rate.

Holiday Surcharge

A compulsory holiday surcharge applies as follows:
